Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar") is our Merchant of Record. Polar, not shrnq, takes your payment, handles sales tax and processes refunds.

1. Plans

Free is free. Pro is [PRO PRICE], billed monthly in advance by Polar, and renews automatically until you cancel.

2. Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the billing portal (Settings → Billing → Manage subscription). You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and no further charges follow. Deleting your account is different: it cancels your Pro subscription immediately, no further charges follow, and Pro access ends at once rather than at the end of the paid period. Deleting an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund of the unused period; Polar's refund rules (section 4) and your statutory rights still apply.

3. Refunds

  • First payment. If you are not happy, email [CONTACT EMAIL] within [REFUND WINDOW DAYS] days of your first Pro payment and we will ask Polar for a full refund.
  • Renewals. We do not usually refund months already used. If you did not mean to renew and have not used the extra capacity, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will usually arrange a refund.
  • Abusive accounts. Accounts terminated for breaking the Acceptable Use Policy are not refunded.
  • If we end Pro without cause, we refund the unused part of the current period.
  • Taxes collected by Polar are refunded with the payment.

4. Polar's 60-day refund rights

Polar can refund or cancel a payment on its own initiative within 60 days of purchase to prevent a dispute, even where a seller's policy says otherwise. If Polar does this, your Pro access ends and no further action is needed from you.

5. EU and UK consumers

If you live in the EU or UK you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. For a digital service you can ask to start immediately; if you do and then withdraw, you pay pro rata for what you used. The consent and acknowledgement steps are part of Polar's checkout. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights.

6. How refunds are paid

Polar sends refunds to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank, typically 5 to 10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us first. Each chargeback carries a fee for us and puts our payment account at risk, and accounts with chargebacks may be downgraded.

8. Price changes

We give 30 days' notice before a price change affects you. You can cancel before it applies.
