This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Polar, our Merchant of Record, also requires sellers to follow its own acceptable-use policy, which prohibits malware, illegal goods and services, intellectual-property violations, deceptive practices and similar. Abusive shrnq traffic can put our payment account at risk, which is why we enforce this policy strictly.
1. What you may not do
You may not use shrnq to create, host, redirect to, or promote:
- Phishing, fraud or impersonation. Pages that imitate another brand, login or payment page; scams, fake giveaways, advance-fee, investment and crypto fraud.
- Malware. Viruses, ransomware, exploit kits, drive-by downloads, malicious browser extensions, credential stealers, botnet or DDoS tools.
- Spam. Unsolicited bulk messages (email, SMS, social), comment spam, link farms, SEO manipulation, bot-driven click inflation.
- Link cloaking or deception. Hiding the real destination to mislead visitors; redirect chains designed to evade scanners; destinations that change between safe and harmful depending on who is looking; shortening another shortener's link to evade blocks.
- Illegal content. Child sexual abuse material (which we report to the authorities), content that incites violence or terrorism, trafficking, illegal drugs or weapons sales, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that infringes copyright or trademark, counterfeit goods.
- Harassment and hate. Doxxing, threats, content attacking people for protected characteristics.
- Adult content. Sexually explicit material is not allowed, in line with our payment provider's rules.
- Unlicensed regulated activity. Gambling, financial services, pharmaceuticals.
- Abuse of the Service. Exceeding limits through multiple accounts, scraping our hosts, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, interfering with other people's links, reselling the Service without agreement.
2. Enforcement
- We may, without prior notice, disable links, block destinations, hostnames or prefixes, remove custom domains, suspend or terminate accounts, and withhold refunds for abusive accounts.
- We may report serious or unlawful content to law enforcement, hosting providers, Google Safe Browsing and similar blocklists, payment providers and affected brands.
- Disabled links may show a warning page or return an error.
- We do not need a complaint to act. We act on automated signals, abuse reports and our own review.
- Appeals: email [ABUSE EMAIL] with your account email and the link. We aim to reply within 5 business days, but we may not restore links that present risk.
3. Reporting
Use the report form or email [ABUSE EMAIL]. Include the short URL, what is wrong and, optionally, your contact details so we can follow up. See the Copyright & Abuse Policy.
