1. What we use

shrnq sets one strictly necessary cookie when you sign in: the session cookie (better-auth.session_token, prefixed __Secure- on HTTPS). It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax and host-only, and it expires with your session. It keeps you signed in and protects against cross-site request forgery. It cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

2. What we do not use

  • No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
  • No third-party scripts or pixels on shrnq pages.
  • Short links set no cookies. When you open a shrnq link we neither store nor read anything on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the server-side click record.
  • We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage.

3. Consent and banners

Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent under the ePrivacy Directive or UK PECR, so we show no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics, advertising or embedded third-party content we will ask for consent first and update this page.

Checkout is hosted by Polar and sets its own cookies under Polar's policies.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete cookies in your browser settings; you will be signed out. Questions: [PRIVACY EMAIL].
